The God of Togetherness

Where can I go from Your Spirit?
Or where can I flee from Your presence?

Psalm 139:7

God is a God of togetherness. We are always together with Him. We are never alone. Sometimes we may think God is not with us. We may feel that He only comes around for occasional visits. Yet, every new covenant image of our relationship with God (the vine and the branches, the body of Christ, the temple of the Holy Spirit, etc.) suggests otherwise. They all speak of union without separation. They all point to the fact that we are always together with Christ. Moreover, because we are together with Him, we are also together with one another.

Therefore let us practice togetherness. No matter where we are, let us know that we are not alone. No matter what we are doing, let us know we do not do it alone. We are together with Him and with one another.

That is a very well put statement! I will check out more of your writing as time permits.
